2006 Volkswagen Jetta TDI 4dr Sedan (1.9L 4cyl Turbodiesel 5M)

Review

No doubt the 2006 Volkswagen TDI will get over 40 miles per gallon on the highway even at speeds over 75. We have noticed that in town driving you have to be careful. It's so fun to drive you want to push the turbo. The worst mileage we had was 31 in the city but average just city no highway we get 35. I'm tall and this Jetta is so much more comfortable than our 1998 Jetta. If you buy a 2006 model make sure you opt for the rubber mats. We went to Florida and having those were important the the truck has a mat also.

Favorite Features

Diesel engine, custom rubber matts, leatherette is much easier to clean than leather or cloth, trunk opens on its own without us picking it up, seat warmers on standard model 1, the best is at 60 mph only using 1,800 rpm and it will still put you back in your seat.

Suggested Improvements

Let the car have its potential. We feel the car can have even more power, guess when warranty is over we'll change the chip.
