1996 Volkswagen Jetta GLS 4dr Sedan

Review

I bought my Jetta GLS in June of 2000, when I bought it the rear defroster didn't work(did not know at time of purchase), all 8 pieces of side molding were discolored, the tire covers' paint were chipped off, and the beams between the rear windows and the fixed portion of the window were rusted. Fixed those problems, and have also had to fix one power window, and replace tires for excessive wear on the front passenger tire. Also specs of rust are forming in various spots.

Favorite Features

Huge trunk, German car feel, reliable engine.

Suggested Improvements

Electrical problems, the orchestra of rattles and squeaks, wind and road noise, and well, just the reliablility and build quality overall.
