2012 Volkswagen CC Sport 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6AM)
As others have said here, both the interior and exterior are of luxury-line quality, and the 4-cylinder performance is a dream. Cornering ability is outstanding, and the ride is very smooth. A definite bonus, also, is that the CC model is a rare gem on the road (almost makes me want to give the CC a bad review so it stays that way).
Professional reviews are a little misleading - they widely pan the 6-cylinder model and complain that there's little room in the back. Just get the 4-cylinder and don't shop for coupes when you really need a minivan (duh?).
One of the features rarely (never?) mentioned is the automated window function: the doors are frameless, which initially had me worried because my brother's last economy car whistled on the freeway... but the CC's windows automatically raise and lower a quarter-of-an-inch to fit snugly inside cabin-mounted weatherproofing. They drop down as soon as you remotely unlock or turn off the vehicle, and they pop back up upon closing or locking. In all, it's a very solid and quiet ride, and the only thing you'll have to worry about is your speed - it will easily go up to 90 mph without you noticing.
Also love being able to manually up/downshift the automatic transmission for freeway maneuvers.
In anticipation of drivers going faster than they had intended, VW provided a user-adjustable speed limit warning chime that can be turned on/off and raised/lowered through controls on the steering wheel. My only complaint is that the chime is too quiet (cannot be heard over any music), so my primary indication of going too fast is the digital display between the analog tachometer and speedometer.
