I do agree that it would be helpful for some to make a "3-in-a-pinch" back seat an option. Personally, I like the one in the car just fine. Do you drive "two-footed?" The accelerator will not work if your foot is even slightly on the brake. Other than that, I don't experience the hesitation you mentioned. After much research, I found that the "requirement" for premium is wording that VW uses to get the horsepower/torque ratings they want out of this engine. You certainly can use regular and the difference in performance is negligible. It will not in any way damage your engine as all modern engines have "knock sensors" to prevent this.Report it
