  • VW 2010 CC Sport Battery

My car was driven 30K miles and the 2 year old battery provided with the car by David Maus VW of Orlando, just crapped out dead, capute gone, worthless. I only had the damn car in David Maus's VW for its 30K mile service 30 days ago....then this! Makes me wonder is it VW, David Maus, or just a shitty battery that VW installs on the cheap meant to crap out ... Read More

$29,400 is the base model of Sport Trim with DSG, no any other options. I found out the Mat Kit or Protection Kit is overcharged, I can have a great set of mats at much lower price than the VW's.

Do you know if there is any incentives existing this month or August? After viewing about 7 dealerships website, I just found one has posted they have $1250 rebates, but rest of the dealerships didn't. So I'm curious if this $1250 from the VW or just the dealer.... Any help will be appreciated!!

Hello. We're leasing a 2010 VW CC 2.0 Turbo and since we've gotten it, there's been a rattle coming from the front during acceleration. We took it to the dealer and he told us it was the flex pipe. Apparently there's some sort of mesh cage around it that rattles. Has anyone heard of this problem. I'm told there's no plans for any sort of recall. Just curious. Any information would ... Read More

Bought a 2010 2.0 T CC in Nov. When I accelerate, right before the turbo kicks in it sounds like a knocking and pinging (as you would get in a older car with bad gas). I took it back to my local dealer, they replaced the Turbo and told me that noise I'm hearing is normal. I did not accept that VW would allow such a noise to be present every ... Read More

I just purchased a 2010 CC and I'm very happy with it. It came with the optional iPod adaptor in the glove box. My only complaint is that I get a little "hiccup" at the beginning of every song on the iPod. This is especially noticeable with albums where songs seemlessly transition (ie - "Dark Side of the Moon"). I brought it in to the dealer and they said they couldn't ... Read More

The "Badging" on the 2010 CC is simply that the back of the car says "CC" on the left lower side of the trunk and "2.0T" on the right lower side of the trunk. The letters are approx 0.75" high and done in chrome. In 2009, VW did not "badge" the car with "CC" or "2.0T" on the trunk, so from the back the car only has the VW symbol on ... Read More

Black/Black with CC "Protection" package (aka chrome pipes, mat in trunk, and splash guard) 1) I have NO issue with the water "pouring" out the doors -- in fact, I don't have any water leaking anywhere. 2) I had a slight issue with a sputter/coughing with the car when I first got it. I haven't sat down and made a deal yet, so I don't know if there are any additional fees other than tx,title and license. I am looking at a 2010 model. The 2010 comes with a 6 speed DSG transmission and the 2009 had a 6 speed Tiptronic. The DSG is one of the smoothest auto shifters out there, and because it is really a manual transmission shifted via computer, it gets better mpg than the Tiptronic. However, saving $6 to 10K has its merit as well.

I've got the DSG in my '08 R32. It does the same thing. The other thing that I don't like about the transmission is when you are driving up a hill in stop and go driving. The clutches sometimes release right when you don't want them to and the cars rolls back a bit, or they engage harshly and the car jerks forward. Otherwise, the DSG is great.

I had a similar effect when driving a DSG. I had a bad habit of letting up on the gas just before the shifts. It confused the DSG and resulted in jerky (clunky at times) shifts. Probably just one of the quirks you need to adjust to.

I use the term "Sputter" loosely becasue I have no other way to describe it. I recently purchased a new 2010 VW CC Sport (2.0T). I have had the car only for 3 days now but I noticed something strange. If you take off from a dead stop and just let go of the break, do not apply any pressure on the accelerator, and the car feels like it "sputters". For ... Read More

It does look like a decent deal. However, the Doc fee is high and the only fee truly required is the destination fee. Other fees are applied via the dealership. I have never paid a doc fee when I have leased 3 cars. If there is a doc fee, I understand the dealer needs some money, but $205 is really high. But, I would hate for the dealership to lose a ... Thanks for the info. Had to look up DSG and it sounds cool (love manual trannies). VW's history with electrical malfunctions combined with the newness of the technology would worry me. However, the electrical assist steering worked great and I really liked it the '06 Passat and I like the same steering even better on the '09 CC. Dan
