2002 Volkswagen Cabrio GLX 2dr Convertible (2.0L 4cyl 5M)

Review

Great little car - sharp looking red with a black top and black leather interior (very hot in the summer). The extra paid for the GLX is worth it! I purchased the vehicle while living in the mountains - perfect handling on those curvy mountain roads. However, now I'm back in the big city and feel intimidated in my small five-speed. Back to an SUV for me!

Best Features

Looks great - a real eye-catcher. Great handling and tight steering. High quality cloth top, easy to raise and lower, and a boot that's very easy to put on. Never had the first leak problem, and after almost two years, the top still looks brand new!

Worst Features

Drink holders are almost useless, door handles peeled early on. At a little over 24,000, reverse gear went out; however, it was covered under powertrain. VW doesn't have many service centers, making it hard to leave your car for service. The warranty could be a little better.
