I to own a Saturn Vue green line (2007) and am currently very disappointed in it's fuel economy. The Hybrid control module was replaced within the first month of my ownership of it. Ever since, my fuel economy has been 25 mpg or below, yet before the replacement (three tanks of gas) I was at 27. My question is: How far does your assist pointer/ arm move when you accelerate? ... Hello HybridVue, I do not have people honking and screaming obscenities at me, even in Philadelphia, while I am driving. With the warmer temperatures and the Summer Blend of Gas - my Hybrid Vue keeps on performing. 103rd Tank 18+ Months of ownership – 46,090 Miles - 103 Fillups – Lifetime Avg 32.129 mpg. I didn't realize the retuned engine and new 5-speed Auto had improved its mileage so significantly. 21/27 for the automatic, 22/28 for the manual, vs 19/24, 19/25 for the 2007 model. That bump is enough to warrant a second look by some people, but Mazda doesn't advertise this car well, so I doubt anybody knows. I sure didn't until reading an MSN article today. In ... Saturn Vue, 2007, V6. Purchased my Saturn last August. I now have 5600 miles on it. It seem like the gas mileage is getting much better the more mile's I drive it. I live on the east coast of Florida. This past week end, wife and I drove up to Ocala, Florida which is about a 185 mile trip from out home. Your mechanic is correct - Saturn is sending out another recall letter. However, they are NOT replacing the whole Hybrid battery. Here are the important paragraphs from the recall letter: The recall includes all 2007 AURA Green Line and VUE Green Line as well as certain 2008 model year Saturn AURA Green Line Hybrid Vehicles. That's harder to do than it sounds, but I suppose the hosts can try. I think if a manufacturer has more than one crossover, perhaps only the largest belongs here. Even then you have a gray area, though. Look at Mitsubishi. Do we include the Endeavor? It's bigger than the Outlander. Yet the smaller one offers the (tiny) 3rd row.
