BMW Z4

Repeated Z4 problems.

">I have a 2007 Z4 3.0i. In the 18 months I have owned the car, it has been in the dealership for 53+ days for the same problem: a faulty engine warning light. According to the dealership, they have tried every fix in the book at least twice. I have also had faulty airbag warning lights, a driver-side window that goes up and down of its own accord, and wipers that "click" ... Read More...

Re: 2007 Z4 Cigarette lighter to charge cell phone [kellerman]

The lighter socket is more shallow than a standard socket, so the plug-in adapters that come with cell phones and GPS units can't be inserted far enough to make contact on the side. BMW's response to this problem (I asked) is that they don't support the addition of any third-party products. Read More...

BMW Z4 Tires and Wheels

Re: BMW Z4: Tires/Wheels

I was the fortunate second owner of the most pristinely new, babied 2004 BMW Z4 2.5i convertible. After 2.5 years with the first owner, it was only driven 11,400 miles. Ah, the tires. ... Read More...

Make sure that the dealer you are working with uses this factor to calculate your car's monthly payment. ... Read More...

Re: 2007 Z4 Cigarette lighter to charge cell phone [sylvain1]

I also just bought a 2007 Z4 coupe -- same problem -- the salesman said that as long as the lighter works, BMW feels there is no problem, end of conversation. Seems crazy -- I know my charger(s) work on other cars. I hope you will post any result from your appt. Read More...
