Review

I just traded my '06 750Li lemon for an '07...and got another lemon. The '06 was continually in the shop for transmission problems, which after 4 attempts and a new transmission was never fixable. The new '07 has the same problems (I know, "fool me once..."). BMW as a company has been horrific to deal with. The mechanics say that BMW is well aware of the faulty transmissions, but no fix is available. Apparently BMW's policy is "let the buyer beware". Yikes. I now have an attorney instead of a drivable vehicle. Oh well, live and learn! I guess there is good reason why the A8 and the S-class have passed up the 7 series in reviews over the past several years.

Favorite Features

It's in the shop too much to remember.

Suggested Improvements

1)BMW needs to fix the faulty transmission problems. 2) BMW needs to return to the principles of ethical support and business conduct that helped build their reputation.

Review

Been driving this car for some time now and it is truly an incredible drive. If you are looking for a luxury sedan in this price range, I would certainly recommend it, specially if you are a gadgets fan.

Favorite Features

Voice command activation, ease of use, the control knob and more fuel efficient than most cars in its class.

Suggested Improvements

Increasing more standard features.

Review

This is my first BMW after a Lexus and MB. I tested the LS 460 and S 550. I fell in love with the 750. I love the car. It is loaded with amazing technology. The iDrive is easier than I expected (of course it took me two hours at the dealership to learn the basics and another two hours of exploring it at home). It is fun to drive especially when passing other cars. This is truly a luxury car with the heart of a race car. Best car to lease.

Favorite Features

I don't know where to begin. iDrive, Night vision, rear DVD, side sunshades, driver seat massage, parking sensors, bluetooth, voice command, transmission, engine, acceleration...

Suggested Improvements

May benefit from adding more features to the navigation system to make it more user friendly and easier to locate POI and entering destinations.

I love my 760 Li - when it runs properly

I just love my 760 (this is my 2nd, the first was a 2005). Unfortunately, it seems to have MAJOR engine/mech. problems. BMW has been unable to diagnose/repair the most recent problem which left me stranded on the side of the interstate in a major thunderstorm. The car has been taken away by a flat bed truck 2x now. Nothing more embarassing than waiting for a tow with your $150k car on the side of the road. My first 760 had minor issues-so I ordered a new one thinking I just got a bad car. I actually had it built with everything I wanted which took months & I finally get my new beautiful car & the day they delivered it there was an error light on in the dash board... it's been downhill since.

The speed... hands down.

Better diagnostics.

Review

This the fifth BMW 7 series that I have bought. 1987, 91, 96, 01 and 07. I can drive any car that I want but I keep going back to BMW. I also own a 2004 645 Ci that I truly love to drive when the wife and kids are not around.

Favorite Features

iDrive and the auto park feature.

Nothing really, this car has everything that a drive could ask for.

Review

This car is so quiet and pleasant to drive I have stopped flying on all my close business trips.

Favorite Features

The iDrive. I never have to put on reading glasses to operate this car. I can see and access everything on LCD screens in large bright type. The active cruise control is something I will never be able to live without again. I use active cruise on 45 mph city streets it is so easy to operate.

Suggested Improvements

Get rid of the stupid don't operate this while driving warning. I hate clicking through it every time I start the car.

Review

The new 750Li is outstanding. This is my fifth 7-series sedan and by far the best. The technology took some getting used to but the car is really awesome once you live with it for awhile. This is truly the vehicle of the future. Driveability is the usual BMW excellence. Michigan Blue is a great new BMW color and the black nascar leather is very comfortable. I took european delivery and BMW treated us great.

Favorite Features

Interior. Logic seven. Rear entertainment system. Engine and drivetrain. Handling. Steering. Comfort seats.

Suggested Improvements

More wheel choices. Relocate transmission shifter back to the center console.

Review

This is my third BMW and I can tell you, this car GROWS on you. The comfort, styling and handling are first rate. Feels very solidly built. This vehicle is built for high speed cruising.

Favorite Features

Sport sedan handling belies its size. Aggressive exterior styling.

Suggested Improvements

Lazy accelerator - you have to dig deep for any real action - transmission shouldn't need to hunt so much for the right gear. Adopt the heads up display from the 5 and 6 series. Overly complex iDrive.

Review

The 750 is one mean driving machine. My wife and I love it. While this is not our first BMW it is our first 750 and we would not own any other series. When driving you do not hear nor feel the outside. It takes the road like it owns it and when pick up is needed other cars are in your dust with their mouths open.

Favorite Features

There is just not one favorite thing. Just love the whole car.

Suggested Improvements

The car is great as it is... would not improve one thing.
