Infiniti M35 / M45 Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Re: Good Cash Price on M45 [dallaspatent]

Hey big D. I drive a 2006 M35X with 26.5 miles. Need the awd in New England. Like it a lot but wish it had a 6th and/or 7th gear because at 70 mpg the rpms are close to 3000. I average 19.5 overall mpgs and alternate 89 octane with 93. Have nitro. in the tires and keep them nearly full. See a few M45s around here. They have the V8 and maybe larger trunk but at $4.20+ gas a V8 seems ... Read More...

Re: Car_Man - June M45 Lease Rates Please [ghstudio]

I leased a 2006 M35 journey/tech car for no money down $620 +tax. The 2008 cars right now even with the $2000 rebate are still the same deal. What makes you think that Nissan Motor Corp. will allow the 2009s to sell for $720 + tax?? Sorry, they will be incentivised too. The M35 has been established as a $600/mo. lease car. Any higher and we are into Mercedes/BMW/Lexus ... Read More...

Re: 2006 M35 or M45 -- Need advice! [vanhalenabe]

Some people have said an M35 is essentially nicer and larger G35. But the M45 has an unique engine not shared with the G, and that alone is worth the price of admission. You asked and then answered your own question about the V6 v. the V8 ... so much for that. Insofar as the M is a "nicer and larger G35", that's silly. Different platform, heavier, queieter, etc. Putting ... Read More...

Re: 2006 M35 or M45 -- Need advice! [scmetal]

Tires can make a huge difference, so take that into account. We've not had that much snow here,so I can't compare, but my last car was an A6 quatro. The Audi was and probably is more capable in the snow, but the Infiniti isn't bad. Read More...

Re: New 7 sp Trans Might Help the M [art234]

I have a 2006 M35X and my lease is up in Aug. Just spoke with a sales guy at Infiniti (Circle in NJ). According to him, no signicant changes to the M35 in 2009. Engine/? transmission changes at least for M35x is planned for 2010. (I didn't ask him about M45) I have looked around. I might actually go for the G35x. Its interior is almost as nice as the M, it's faster, slightly ... Read More...

Re: 2006 M35 or M45 -- Need advice! [buddybrad]

I have had the M35x for about 9 months. I do find the acceleration noise to be annoying, and frankly totally unnecessary. If I were 18 years old I guess the growl would be more appealing. That said, on highway driving it seems to be less pronounced. As far as the all wheel drive goes, I would say I am a little disappointed. I live in Chicago and we've had a good amount of ... Re: 2009 Infiniti M50? [rayainsw]

The question of which car would be the next in Infiniti's lineup to utilize their new 7 speed was the first that entered my mind when I saw the introduction of the new FX50. My 2006 M45 Sport lease expires in June and I've been waffling in my decision on a follow up car. I took the opportunity earlier this week to speak to the owner of my local Infiniti dealership about ... Read More...

Re: How will deal on 2008 compare with that on my 2006 M35x? [nrwayne]

I have to believe that given the economy and gas prices the 08 Ms aren't selling particularly well For purposes of getting a good purchase or lease price I hope for your sake that you are correct. Sorry to beat a dead horse on this topic but even though I agree that Infiniti could/and is doing things to improve mileage (see introduction of 7sp auto on 2009 FX), the difference ... Read More...

Infiniti M45 lease - Help needed

Hello all - I need your help regarding my 2006 Infiniti M45 lease that is scheduled to end in April 2008. I have taken very good care of the car and it currently has 15000 miles on it. What I like to know is: 1. Would it be possible to extend the lease by another 6/12 months? I love the car but I am not ready to purchase it yet. 2.
