I have major problem with my tires, this is the second set of tires I purchased, a total 8 tires $2500. just brought another one today, 328.00 from Tire Rack. I keep getting side wall damage , Bridgestone Potenza runflat tires are horrible. Yes, it was a certified car. I think that the dealer may come down a little more, but I can't imagine him coming down another $2,000. MSRP is $35,445 and dealer retailer on Edmunds is $31,698. Was it a Certified car? Actually I was offered 30,500 for 328i but it was a list price and Sales guy told me that they can go down by 1000 if I am intested. Infact they have a really upgraded car with (prem, sports, hi-fi sound, xenon etc) and dealer was willing to give that for 32.5K (12K mile and certified). I am still not sure about 330i or 328i. The price you listed for the 2007 328i is better than what I was quoted today. For a 2007 328i (with Steptronic auto transmission as the only listed option) and 10,000 miles, I was quoted $31,880 + tax. Read More...

After reading some messages regards to the Bridgestone Turanza Run Flat that came with 2006 BMW 325xi. I strongly agree that these tires are defective. I can not believe BMW will use this kind of tire. only 7k the tire noise start. I have a 2006 325i. Just replaced my Bridgestone Potenza RFTs with Michelin Pilot Sport PS tires. The ride has vastly improved. The car now performs the way I would expect a BMW to perform. rprice Read More...

Well here goes re: "Can I put conventional tires on run flat rims?". A QUALIFIED "YES" * I recently bought a 2006 330i with RFT's. The car had 25,000 miles on it - bought through a BMW Mercedes dealer on the other side of the Country. I didn't read all the posts, but I did not see where anyone has posted the correct information about the Bridgestone Turanza el42's. These tires had a feathering or scalloping problem that would cause abnormal roadnoise. This problem has been amplified by drivers not checking their tire pressure.
