F150 exhaust system ?

All, I have a question about improving the sound of my exhaust. I have a 2005 F150 4x4 that I love, but it is missing that mean loud truck sound that I hear from many other trucks on the road. Ours had metal in it when the dealer dropped ours. My husband was pO'd as we have ONLY 46,000 on our 04 F150 ask the dealer for After Warranty Assistance form ford. Raise HELL if the truck isn't misused & insist on not paying we fought & reduce r pymnt to under $1100 we had issues with our dealer so we are going to file a complaint with our state attorney general's office. ... I don't know if it's a "scam", but I *do* know that I just got a letter from Ford referring to my 2005 F150 Lariat Crew Cab with the 5.4 triton V8. Here's what it said: "In the interest of customer satisfaction, Ford Motor Company is extending the limited warranty on the Fuel Injectors to a total of 11 years or 120,000 miles from the warranty start date, whichever occurs ... hey no problem let me know im curious. i know when i would have the problem, felt like a blown tire, drive shaft or something of that nature. it was so bad the windshield wipers were bouncing pretty hard against the windsheild. im just glad i was still under warranty. good luck martin Read More...

Thanks man I will tell my dealer your fix for sure. I rarely use my emergeny brake though. I have been thinking about it and there is one place on the interstate that if I hit over certain speed it does it every time good thing is its a straigt strech and seems to be just a second or two and stops. hey brother i don't know if this will help you or not, but finally ford fixed mine least i think , it has not happened yet. it appears that my emerengcy brake has been self engaging. which makes all the sense to me . i have had used my emergency brake earlier before each occurance when i pulled might boat. unhooking and hooking up ect. they replace on both rear brake assemblys ... Just traded in a 2005 f250 6.0 Super Duty for a '07 F150 4 door Lariat(4X4). Couldn't be happier after a 1,000 mile roundtrip to go to a college graduation and loaded it with a dorm room full of stuff and furniture. Yes, I have some help and advice for you.....as soon as it is repaired, trade it in while it is running and buy a gas engine version of the F-250 or a F-150 with the Triton engine. We had two Ford F-250's. The first was a '99 with the 7.3. We had next to no problems with that truck. We made our big mistake in October 2004 buying a 6.0 F-250 Lariat Super Duty. February 2005, ... Thank you for your comments and your action. I too have experienced this lack of responsibility evidenced by the Ford Corporation's. I recently contacted an attorney and plan to file a "Small Claims" lawsuit to recoup my repair expenses. Let's motivated others to join us in this pressurization for responsibility.
