2004 GMC Sierra 2500 Alarm Problems
I have a 2004 2500 Sierra with a factory alarm. I live in the San DIego Area. The alarm has been going off about every other night between 12:30am and 2:30 am. I watched several nights just to see if someone was tampering with the truck but nothing like that. It's parked in the driveway and just goes off. Anyone have any similar experiences with alarms going off for ... Read More...

Re: 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 4x4 [conclutcha]
One is located on the front differental housing, this is the easy one to replace. The second one is located the transfer case, (Transfer Case Encoder Motor) this one you must drop the front drive shaft to replace. http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Auto-Parts-Direct-To-You/GMC/Sierra%201500%2c25- 00%2c3500/ Read More...

(3) quick on and off turns of the ignition ... Read More...

I recently purchased an 04 GMC Sierra 2500 that was rolled over, after replacing the roof and other body damage (no damage to the front, rear or under carriage) I tried to engage the 4 wheel drive, the blinking lights tells me that it is engaged in 4 wheel drive. I hear it engaging in the transfer case, but the front axles do not engage. I purchased an actuator and installed ... Read More...

2500 HD Transmission Problem
My 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4 x 4 loses power when my transmission temp gets between 180-200 degrees. It only gets hot on the hot summer days or when I tow my boat. There is an unusual noise(higher RPM?) in the transmission when I take off after sitting a controlled intersection. I get my vehicle serviced on a regular basis. I have yet to take it into a dealer..any ideas? Read More...

Used 2003 Silverado 2500HD LS: Warranty
I have a follow up to my previous posting, # 688, as noted at the end of that posting, but not in the Title, I am looking for advice on what to do for an extended Warranty. One option I didn't outline, but am considering, is to get a shorter term such as 3 years / 36K miles just to get me through the first couple of years but with the option of doing a private party sale and transferring ...
