This is BJohnson. Can you tell me exactly how your husband got the glove box out? After you open the glove box, what do you do to pop it out, and did you say that the lever you need to close will be to the left? I have a 2002 Ford Explorer and am having a probelm with the AC I recently changed out the compressor and and all three blend door actuator (motors) thats for rear and front ac and now my vents are blowing hot air on the driver side and cold on the passenger side. Had the same problem I replaced the daytime running lights module also check for broken wires at module. On a 95 explorer it is located on the drivers side rad support access is from underneath it`s a rectangular box. Read More...

Hi, I have a 2002 ford explorer, made the last payment in April, and in May a problem began. When I start the car, the day lights blink on and off like a police car. The light is telling you that your engine is in trouble - the engine is running jerky, telling you that it is in imminent danger if FAILING!! Get that poor car to the dealer NOW, and have it checked out, before you do some irreparable damage to the car. Read More...

It sounds like you need to get it into a service shop,Bye the way do people ever check the oil and water levels these days?The rattle you have ?well the Explorer has a timing chain but they dont give trouble on the newer ones,Have you looked under the hood to see if you can spot the rattle,Running Jerky well that can be a h/t lead braking down i know on the early Explorer ... Hello, Tried your fix and it does work. I do think that this is temporary as soon as I switch back to AC my problem re-appears. I do think this is a blend door issue. You can manualy fix this each time but this can be a pain in the neck, Thanks for the info. Read More...

FOR ALL WITH THE PROBLEM WITH THE CLICKING UNDER THEIR GLOVE COMPARTMENT. I own a 96 explorer and had the same problem about 2 months ago. it turned out to be a broken blend door. I dont remember where i bought mine but im sure you can just google it. Its an easy 15-30 minute do it your self job. PLEASE HELP. I have a 2003 explorer with identical problem I looked and felt under dash for the suggestion in post 84 but no luck. The only thing I feel that moves is the opening to the adjuster to decide ac,defrost etc.. What am I missing?? Please email at wjmulle@hotmail.com. Read More...
