Dodge Stratus Engine Problems

i have a 2002 stratus SE and about a month ago something in the engine starting rattling when i accelerate up to about 45-50 mph. it ran out of oil around december but the rattling just started. does anyone know what the problem may be? took to the dodge dealership and various other shops no one seems to know what the problem is. they said it's not the lifters, not carbon ... When you say shop do you mean "a Dealer", if not have a Dodge Dealer look it over. I have a 2002 Stratus RT 4dr Sedan with 21000 and 4-5/32 Front and 6-7/32 rear padding left, and I drive it pretty hard every day to the Metro 5-6 mile stop and go. Read More...
