This vehicle has been my pleasure to own. It has been fun customizing it because there are so many options to choose from on all the stuff you can do to it.
Favorite Features
There is not just one feature that I really like more than the others. But the interior is very comfortable.

When I bought my Tahoe, I traded in a Ford Explorer. I knew I was going up in size, but that didn't bother me. I loved the room in this new vehicle. To my surprise, parallel parking was much easier in this vehicle than in the Ford, which was smaller. Only draw back is the steering colum in this vehicle had to be replaced which was a problem with all trucks for GMC/Cheverolet.

This has been the most comfortable vehicle I've ever driven. It's big enough but not too big. I like the rear cargo door. You can open just the back window or the whole thing. There's no pillar to block the view. It's easy to drive. Plenty of elbow room. Layout of dashboard is practical. The Tahoe offers a quiet, smooth ride. It's comfortable on long road trips.
Favorite Features
Computer that tells you when you need an oil change!
Suggested Improvements
The cup holders could be taller so that bottles, cups are more secure. Water bottles fall out if you don't hold them on turns.

My Tahoe has been great, I love the size, but I have a few suggestions. It's been a great, reliable car. But I will not get another until they fix these things. I am looking at an Infinity QX56.
Favorite Features
Mechanically, I've never done a thing but change the oil!
Suggested Improvements
3rd row to fold flat, 2nd row seats recline, armrests in the way of seatbelts in front, armrests too close together, middle seats need shoulder seatbelts, need 40/20/40 split in middle row, stability control

LS Should Mean, "Lousy Seat"
Vehicle
2002 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 2WD 4dr SUV (4.8L 8cyl 4A)

Worst vehicle I ever owned. Steering intermediate shaft needs lubed every 3000 miles. Engine knocks when first started. I get maybe,12 MPG. Seats are the worst I ever had the misfortune to sit in. If ninety % use their vehicle for transport of the driver only, why don't these idiot engineers design a vehicle that a person over 5'2" can get comfortable in. I mean does it make sense to cram a person in a cocoon shaped drivers compartment with their feet stuck in one position, the floor curved, so their feet are never on a flat surface, a steering wheel that will not adjust fwd and aft, seats that only adjust the bottom half, arm rest that stick in the air when top half is reclined.

None

Engineers: Use your heads. Most people drive by themselves. Why can't you design the drivers compartment controls to be the most adjustable. ie seats, wheels, pedals. Think about where people rest their knees and legs. Why is there always a sharp corner where I want to rest my leg?

This 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe is the third Tahoe I have owned and the sixth SUV I have owned. Prior to purchasing my first SUV which was a Chevy two door Blazer I drove sports cars. I will never own another car, the Tahoe is the best, most reliable vehicle I have ever owned and I have owned a total of sixteen cars in my life.
Favorite Features
It sits up higher than a car so you can see what is going on in front of you. You simply feel safer in a Tahoe, the size and reliablity can not be beat.
Suggested Improvements
The only thing I could think of suggesting to improve the Tahoe is to make it more fuel efficient. Other than that there is nothing else to improve on it looks better, rides better and is more dependable than any other vehicle on the road today.
Nice, powerful and reliable ride.

Even though I don't have anything or anyone to haul around, I love having the room if I need it. Actually, I did once deliver a new stove and it fit in the back with the seat folded down. Not great gas mileage - but I'm glad I have the power to get on the highway with no problems.
Favorite Features
I love the stereo and all the extra lighting and hidy-holes in the interior.
Suggested Improvements
As getting in and out seems to be wearing the edges of the front seats, a heavy duty panel on that area of the seats would help. Of course, if there were a way to get better gas mileage, say 20 mpg on the highway, that would be great.

This is my second Tahoe. My first was a 97. This truck is hands down a much better truck. I have 55k on it and have had no problems. I tow a boat and have used for off road purposes while hunting. Also we use for our trips to CO for ski vacations. In all conditions it has been a great vehicle.
Favorite Features
Overall driving comfort. Auto ride for towing and heavy loads. Body style, fit and finish.
Suggested Improvements
Better brakes, they are a little soft, and factory 17" rims as standard equipment
