i had a 99 f350 s.d. that i sold because of the box that rotted in the wheel wells too i worked at the time at a ford store and had the rep look at the truck i was also just out by one month and was told no. i still have a 94 lightning that has not seen snow and the wheel well are rusty on it with only 80k. my 92 f150 4x4 rotted in the same way. i still have my 2001 f250 and the box is rusting ... I have a 2001 ford f150 king ranch with power windows and moon roof. All of a sudden no windows will work or moon roof. Looked at owners manual and saw were there was a circuit breaker 30 amp under the hood that works all windows. It's number 601. Went to ford and bought new one and installed and they still don't work. Any suggestions??? Read More...

I have a 2001 ford f-150 and it is doing the same thing as mlissa402 is doing can anyone tell me what is wrong with it. It will turn over but it won't start. I dont know what state you are from but Im in Iowa and Iowa's law states you have to give them 10 days to respond and 1 attempt to repair the vehicle. First you have to mail out a certified/registered notice to Ford which went out Friday (so should have it today). If they fail on either part of that then you do not have to give them any second chances and can rescind the contract. ... Read More...

I just had the local Ford dealer replace all the brake pads on my 2001 F-150. Now it won't stop right! The front brakes don't seem to be engaging - you can't make it stop quickly in forward (it will in reverse). They said that the front pads will seat in a day or two and it will work right.
