I have replaced the instrument cluster on my 2001 Buick Century. The LED odometer and PRNDL was blanked out and I understood the way to fix it was to replace the instrument cluster. Had rebuilt transmission put in about 3,000 miles ago. 2001 BUICK CENTURY. Today, trying to start from traffic light, it didn't go forward in DRIVE. PUt it in next dear and still didn't move. yes the subframe will have to be removed and depending on what style the subframe is engine support may be required to keep the motor stationary during trans out of car time Read More...

you're at step 1 of what I found in my 2000 century, I found the drain way up on the engine side of the right side of the radiator..looking from front of caR. I drained the coolent, flushed the system, and refilled the system. Only...to see the grayish brown sludge to appear again. ROCKYFAN.....GO TO MESSAGE #98 AND #99. THIS SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME AND AFTER THE FLUSH AND ABOUT 20,000 MILES LATER I HAVE NO OIL IN THE RADIATOR. I CARRIED MY CAR TO A QUICK LUBE AND HAD THEM TO DRAIN ENOUGH COOLANT OUT TO PUT THE BOTTLE OF CASCADE IN THEN BLED THE AIR OUT OF THE SYSTEM WITH THE BLEED VALVE. Good morning, I have a 2001 Century, just purchased from family member two weeks ago, it has since been driven over 3,000 miles, I got stuck in traffic and noticed the temp gauge riding up a bit, not past the middle but up enough to cause me concern,, I simply lowered the windows and put the heat on full blast till traffic eased. Can anyone help me with my wife,s 2001 Buick Century. I have checked the coolant both in the radiator and the overflow container, and both are at proper levels. On my brand new 2001 century, already had a click. The dealer shop and every service technician i have spoken with about it since, says this is nothing to worry about. Just a nuisance! Also, brakes have always squeaked a little in humid conditions. Read More...

Is there anyone who had this problem: My engine fans come on as soon as I start my car, this prevents my car from getting warm enough to provide heat in the winter time.
