i bought a full size spare and an extra wheel. I know it takes up a hell of lot of space but with the drop down rear seat in the 335xi it's tolerable. I had a jack left over from my last bmw and it fits nicely in the (inadequate) well. I got the wheel from my bmw dealer ($286) and the tire from tire rack $145. had it put together at my local tire guy ($30). I bungy cord it in the ... Read More...

yes the C is pricy, but if I consider the C I'd go all the way to C350. When you count them up with options the C350 will cost around $2000 over the C300 (rwd). MB has the poorest quality among the 3 germans, so personally buying C300 awd is a bad idea imo. What you might not notice is the C is now cheaper than both A4 and 3series. Can I get a 2007 335i from a non-BMW dealer and then bring it over to a BMW dealer to certify the car (I probably need to pay them $2000+)? Does it all depend on the dealer? I saw a very nice 335i form one place. The dealer charges the same model more than $5000. Will all BMW dealers retrofit the oil cooler for the turbo now? Thanks. Read More...

climatecontrol... My local midwestern dealer is offering 2.9 percent on CPO MY2000 cars. Believe that is thru BMW Financial Services. Your friend should talk to the dealership about finance rates for CPO BMWs. In MY2000, it was the 323i. 325i came out in 2001. Read More...

Why pay $5,300 MORE for a car that has a heavier front end, takes more gasoline to propel it and has 15 ft lbs less torque -- and that the torque it does have comes on at thousands of rpm's higher? The Bentley manual is pretty easy to understand - and it has photographs in it to show you what's going on. The biggest complaint with it is the photos show a brand new car, so there's no dirt, grime, or anything aftermarket - your car will look a little different than the one in the photos.
