I own a 1997 Dodge Stratus and am having many problems with it. Recently the car has been acting quite strange. When I start it in the morning it runs good for a couple of minutes and then it starts chugging and hesitating. The check engine has come on and now won't shut off. Does the engine have any oil in it, that model had a known head gasket oil leak. :( Read More...

I am wondering if anyone could tell me what the problem may be with my car... I got to a stop sign and the car shut off for me...I had a friend check it and he said there is no compression to start it... What could the problem be... I don't want to spend a fortune on this car..Thanks Read More...

I have a 1997 Dodge Stratus ES with 55,000 miles and I can't complain about my experience. I haven't had any of the problems described by others (no oil leaks, head gasket problems, or anything like that). I did have to get my ABS computer replaced when my ABS light came on, but it appeared to be a random problem. Thank goodness I got the 7 yr/100,000 mi. extended warranty. ... Read More...
