Did we get a Made in Japan Ford Aerostar?
We have an excellent experience with our 1996 Ford Aerostar XLT 2WD with the 4.0L engine. Reliability is incredible (now 140,000), and it hasn't been into the repair shop for any engine work since 1999. It's still on the original engine and transmission. I have purchased a 1996 Ford Aerostar XLT extended length and has a 4.0L V6 engine and gets about 15-16 mph per gallon on city and 21-25 mph per gallon on flat highway. Tow 2,500 pds on flat highway gets about 17-20 mph per gallon. Read More...
