I love my Passport. I've owned it now for 7 years, and at 185,000 miles, it still runs like the day I drove it off the lot.
Favorite Features
Ergonomics, cargo space, and drive handling and comfort.
Suggested Improvements
The achilles heel is NO CUP HOLDER! No cup holder!?!? What were they thinking??

At 100K, I have had no major problems. The clutch is still in tact, all other mainteance has been routine. It is a pleasure to drive on cheap to repair.
Favorite Features
It's great to be able to put the back seat down and haul things around.
Suggested Improvements
It is a nice SUV that does not need much improvement.

No problems to mention. At about 101K miles had a miss, replaced plug wires, problem solved.
Favorite Features
easy to start, easy handling, tight vehicle even after 100K miles
Suggested Improvements
I expected better gas mileage than what I'm getting. Other Passport owners speak of same.

Well, it's a Isuzu after all....
Vehicle
1995 Honda Passport 4 Dr LX Wagon
Review
Got it used with only 18,000miles. I only had to replace the speedometer sensor with "Nylon" gear teeth ground. The fuel economy is about 13-16 miles/CTY-HWY combination, and the best I have logged so far, is 19 miles/Gallon. Somehow I seem to get better mileage with the "Power mode". Engine eats oil (1Qt/3000mls), puffs black smoke @ start, Ride is a bit choppy, but acceptable. Road noise and engine noise is noticeable. Door lock could've had a lock/unlock button instead of pulling/pushing the knob at your elbow. Over all, it's a great transportation vehicle, well put together, well, by Isuzu standards....
Favorite Features
Style. Well put together. Spacy. Great transportation for the buck!
Suggested Improvements
Poor gas mileage (13-16miles/Gallon average). Oil consumption (1Qt/3000miles). Stereo sits too low. No clearly visible clock other than on the radio. Looks funky without the tire rack. Auto transmission's shift timing is weird. Front seats sit too low for my preference.

Vehicle
1995 Honda Passport 4 Dr LX 4WD Wagon (1995.5)
Review
We bought this new in 95 -8 years ago. We have not put a penny into this SUV for any repairs whatsoever! Absolutely the best, most reliable vehicle we've ever owned. Would like something newer now, just because, but will definitely get a new Passport.
Favorite Features
Stylish, rugged, looks unique. Power button for climbing hills.
Suggested Improvements
Would've liked a 4.0l engine.

What a

Review
Driving our 1995 Passport EX 4x4 has been very enjoyable. ride has been comfortable, plenty of room, rear also, just a little stiff...we've had very little repair other than the usual maintenance. averaged 14 in the city and nearly 19 on the road./..this vehcile has plenty of uphill power with it's electronic gear shifter..the 4wheel has been superb in the snow we've taken it on several long trips never feelling driver or passenger fatigue. there's some air noise from the moon roof, but not bad, it can be drowned out by a little low music...hope to find another quality SUV in our near future...
Favorite Features
comfortable ride, power on demand, and romminess and of course lack of untimely repairs--reliability PLUS!
Suggested Improvements
The moon roof needs better seal

Honda's for me
Vehicle
1995 Honda Passport 4 Dr LX 4WD Wagon (1995.5)
Review
I've had my Passport for 7 years and have not had one single problem. We love the Honda reliability and resale value. We will never own anything else. I still prefer our older model to the newer 'bubbly' looking ones. Its very sleek and sporty. Plenty of room inside for 5 people comfortably. The interior has held up well: upholstery, carpeting moldings look great even with 2 dogs and 1 child. No rattles, drafts, nothing. This SUV has not decomposed in the least.
Favorite Features
Split rear seat. Center console pops out to accomodate larger drinks/bottles. POWER switch for climbing steep hills or passing. Easy 4WD feature, great in snow.
Suggested Improvements
As with all SUV's: gas mileage, cornering capability

My husband purchased this truck brand new and loved it. Have had no problems, now has 86,000 miles. All maintenance done at dealer, including timing mechanism change. Excellent car for teenagers to drive, still going strong after 7 years.
Favorite Features
4 wheel drive is handy in snow, even though it isn't 'on the fly'
Suggested Improvements
CUP HOLDERS and power mirrors would have been nice
