My 08 EXL-V6 has been OK here in NE over this past very hot week. Not knowing the model years of your previous Honda's/Acura's, and whether or not they were models using freon as opposed to the current refrigerants(R134A?), but I have found that freon would provide almost instant cooling and R134A would take 5-10 minutes to get a good chill going. You could just have a vacume leak. Try this. Get some throttle body/carb cleaner, start the engine and let it idle, spray the cleaner on every hose you can find. If the engine changes it's tune (bogs) you've found your leaking hose. Read More...

I have a 1994 Honda accord with 149000 miles. The car randomly stalls when I am going to stop or stopped. There is no symptom before it stalls. At the first several times, I need to wait for one minute to restart it. Later on, I have to spend more time to make it restart. And the frequency of the stalling is becoming larger. The Speedometer cluster is bad. Don't let anyone tell you it is the speed sensor. If the cruse control works the VSS is okay. Been there done that, I got a used Speedometer for $200.00 If you replace the head only, Caution the assembly screws are also electrical connections , do not over tighten. the connecters will break. i have a 1994 honda accord. continues to fail ASM emmission test. HC ppm = 1800 allowed 127, NOx 1600 allowed 910. replaced the catalytic coverter (results were reduced to 300 NOx ppm, HC remained 1800. Replace the oxygen sensor HC ppm = 2000, NOx=1600 both failed, Timing is good, No vacuum leaks, Plugs have been replace. How can I reduce readings to within allowable ... Read More...
