I have a 1994 gmc sonoma. One day I had a problem with the dash lights there were none, turn on the dome light the floor lights come on. No tail lights. Start the truck turn off dome light it stays on. I pulled it into my garage to check the electrical problems. Fuses are good. No crossed wires or fraied ones. Needless can't find the problem. My 1994 seems to hestitate on light exceleration and sometimes backfires or pops throu the throttle body.IT seems to idle rough sometimes also. My light came on so i read the code and it said my idle valve was bad so i replaced that it ran smother but still have the same problem. So today i changed the fuel filter but i still have the same problem. Anyone have any ideas? ... Read More...

I checked fuel pressure and it is 40-41 /Now the truck has started perfect for 5 days /today sunday 5/14 /06 it didnt start again unless you barely push on the gas as soon as you let off gas it stalls thanks bob Read More...

I have a 1994 sonoma 2.2 4 cyl. 5 speed/The only way it will start is to barely pump the gas pedal and once it starts the only way it runs is with my foot on the pedal/As soon as I let off gas pedal it stalls/also there are no codes coming up heeelp////// thanks bob Read More...

Depending on what year your truck is, i know that my 1994 has a brake light switch that every now and then sticks on. this switch is connected to the brake pedal and the fire wall. the switch could be faulty. just a suggestion Read More...
