Review

Best American car - bar none. Exceptional quality for a US mfgr. circa 1990s. 3300 lbs. w/ 300 hp & 330 ft/lbs torque. American pushrod smallblock V8s rule. Amazing technology for the 90's. 5 onboard computers, ABS, ASR, dual airbags. Great weekend or summer hobby car.

Favorite Features

Full throttle! And averaging. 21 MPG - and that's w/ a 4-speed automatic and a performance rear-end.

Suggested Improvements

Cheap interior. C4 Corvettes squeak.

Review

I had a 1991 Corvette and it was the worst car I had ever owned. I was going to never drive another vette again and this one came along. New on the show room. It has been great. I have driven it in every state over every kind of road and just love it. It has 182000 miles with no trouble.

Favorite Features

Great looks and great power. I did add a lot more power for not that much money. Went from 300 to 430 hp.

Suggested Improvements

More foot room for the passenger. Which they did with the 97 and newer.

Great handling car. As I get older it is harder to get in and out of. It is still a bliast to drive. Seems like the little annoying things are starting to break. Power seats, CD player. The leather enterior could be better quality.

Favorite Features

Great handling and performance. Good gas mileage for a car with this much performance.

Use of better materials on the enterior, seats, carpets, etc.

Great power, handling and cornering ability. Not bad in the rain either. As a weekend car, this cannot be beat for the price.

Great Car, spent all nights indoors, paint waxed annually, kept clean 24/7. 6-speed, never raced, adult owner. 100% dependable. Engine compartment as clean as paint. I suffered Illness in '95 and couldn't drive much after that. Have other corvette for fun. Still almost smells factory fresh!

Favorite Features

Bose Gold stereo-Great Sound. Adjustable ride control. Sport seats, carpets new. 6-speed is fun for real drivers. Has 2-tops, solid Polo Green and clear. Car is Polo Green with tan interior.

Suggested Improvements

No improvements necessary unless new owner wants to suppliment current performance etc. I't like new!

Corvettes should be a model for all other sports cars. Its handling and power is virtually unparalelled. Im extremely satisfied with this vehicle.

Review

Bought my first C4 Corvette and I'm happy in every way. The preformance of the LT1 is awesum and the handeling is great. You could spend alot more on an import and get alot less. I feel the Corvette is ont the best bang for the buck cars out there. You can pick up a used Corvette for less than 20K than will out preform most new imports and all domestics except the Viper.

I love my corvette almost as much as my black lab. I have driven it on the myrtle beach stand and the blue ridge parkway and it felt GREATTTTT! I often drive by some kids or they see my car at a stoplight and the jaws just drop, and out comes a shreik from the kids that scares their mommy to death, they think my car is so cool.II used it in the high school homecoming parade and next thing ya know me and my car are on the high school web site escorting the freshman princess. I also love the corvette wave you give/get from others who know what I know about driving such a supreme auto.
