I'd still want it checked out by a good BMW tech. If the car passes muster I'd say $5K-$6K would be a decent enough price. The E35 BMWs aren't exactly rare, so I'd wait for a good one rather than jumping on the first car you look at. Read More...

roadburner-- great notes! Thanks! just curious... where do you account for changes to the cooling system, suspension, etc.? Do you consider these "scheduled" or "non-scheduled"? I am pretty sure that back in 1987 the 325i was the top of the line 3-series. Today's top of the line 3-series is the 335i and it starts at $39,000 so the increase in percentage is 38.3%.
