Well I would blame myself except for one fact, they had already taken the money BEFORE they gave me the car so this is not my fault at all - I have bought quite a few used cars and know when to walk away - both my wife and I test drove the car and both agreed for a 2007 Yaris it was in very good condition - what came out afterwards was that this car had a been a daily fleet rental ... I think that if I had the problem caused by lack of a cabin air filter on my Yaris (which I don't on my 2007 Yaris hatchback), I would probably break down, go on Ebay and spend the $15 including shipping, it would take to buy one for my car. Read More...

Hello renenwetet, I am having a similar problem. Called Toyota, and also created a "case." (#0906130016) I told them about your previous case number above, and they said that they do not add complaints to a particular case number. I have a 2007 Yaris 3 door hatchback for a year. Best designed automoblie I have owned. Why a person would buy the 4 door Yaris sadan is beyond me. If you need 4 doors the Honda Fit is a better choice. Love how Toyota moved the speedometer to the center of the dash and slopped the dash down behind the steering wheel. Sounds like you're pretty new to the vehicle and you may simply be noticing the difference between what you're used to. Once you notice something in a car, it's hard to "not notice" it, but I'd try to keep track of when it happens and see if there's a pattern. That could help determine if there's an issue and what exactly it might be. Read More...
