The sedan has an option of a crusie control from the factory. I would guess the computer for the sedan has the softwarea already in it for the cruise control while the hatchback most definitely does not. The kit I installed in my hatchback was easy to install and works great. It does not use embedded software in the cars computer but has its own computer which is inserted ... Read More...

2 mpg highway and 5 mpg city for the average of 3.5 mpg difference. Either of these cars is more suited to city use in my opinion. If you drive it 150k, resale does make little difference. The Fit has been very in demand and just about all Hondas have the highest resale value even versus Toyota. It will be a big surprise if the Fit does not have the best resale value in the ... congratulate you on your Kia/Ford Festiva. Although I never owned one of those, they caught my eye back in 1988 when they were direct competition to the Chevy Sprint. Remember the Chevy Sprint. 16,000 miles and perfect I purchased my 5 speed Yaris Hatchback in Sept, 2006. I drive about 12,000 miles per yr. I have had zero problems in the first 16 months. The best 2007 car for high mpg and high quality. My winter average mpg is 44, and my summer average mpg is 50, for an average of 47 mpg year round in Pennsylvania. OK. You guys have hit the nail directly on the head. I bought a 2008 Yaris Liftback Automatic in Dec., 2007 and have the EXACT SAME issues. Do I have a solution? Of course not.
