Hi Mileage 07 Yaris problems

My company Car is a 2007 Yaris. I have driven over 75,000 miles in this car mostly in the midwest. All of my dummy lights went on recently. I installed a Rostra on my 2007 hatchback. I commute 100 miles a day and really appreciate it. For eBayers, Courtesy Toyota of Tampa has a listing under Yaris for the Rostra CC at $225 plus $12 shipping. The parts are warranteed for one year by Toyota, since it is listed as an OEM part. I went to a dealer wanting a yaris 2008 hatchback with power package/cruise control. The sales man told me it is included in the power package. I'm sorry to hear you're so adverse to technology. Yes, the car is supposed to either reduce the fuel or drop a gear when going downhill. All you have to do is lift your foot off the gas and the car magically maintains speed going downhill. That's pretty cool. bottgers... I'm not sure of availability in your area, but Toyota offers the Yaris in "S" form which has a tach...there's NO cruise control, though... I do agree with you about Toyota and their apparent indifference to the Yaris 3dr, in both base AND "S" models...Cruise would be nice, a power sunroof, a Pioneer audio system similar to what Scion has in its three ... Plus the liftback is very unique looking. I just wish Toyota would stop treating the liftback as a base model only and offer it with the same options as the sedan. This car needs a tach and cruise control as a minimum. Read More...
