Got a quote for a 2009 Toyota Venza FWD 4-cyl with Mats and Roof Rack. MSRP is $27479. Dealer is offering $24386 before taxes, title,etc.. Is this a good deal? Replacing my 16yr old Corolla which I bought new, back in 1993. Read More...

I purchased a 2009 Venza in May. It's a 4-cylinder FWD. I have both the sunroof that opens over the front passengers, and also the panoramic moonroof over the rear passengers. I did try looking at what 2009 inventory is still left. It looks like in Northern New Jersey only the 6 cyl AWD model comes with a standard sunroof. I was just confused because I shopped around at a couple of dealers and 1 said we can install a sunroof in the 4 cyl no problem. I was interested in a 4cyl AWD 2009 Venza. I wanted to add the sunroof as an option. When I asked the dealer about this they said they could not do this because of safety issues??? On the toyota website it lists the sunroof as an option to purchase. Is the dealer BSing me or is the sunroof option not available on the 4cyl as I was told by the dealer. This is very disappointing. You should consider the Venza. Its 20" wheels are perfect and give a smooth and noise free ride. I have been driving this vehicle for past 2 months i haven't faced any transmission problem and am getting a good fuel avg aswell on 3.5L V6 AWD. I love the Barcelona Red part. Frankly, since the Venza did not even arrive in dealer showrooms until quite late, I'm surprised Toyota didn't make it a 2010 model from the get-go. Most other cars coming out that late are classified as 2010's. This isn't a big deal, except that it affects future resale value. A 2010 will be worth more than a 2009. Read More...
