I am planning to purchase a 2007 Tundra Limited. I live in Columbus, OH but I would travel for a good price. I have already emailed about 50 or so deals through the Toyota website asking for their best price. But what price have any of you paid recently in this area - Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, WV, etc? Help me get the best price. :) Read More...

Not that the tundra is perfect but alot of these people complaining are GM paid personel,2 of the 3 tundras on my job has had the tailgate problem and are now fixed,if people thinks consumers are going to stop buying the truck because of internet propaganda think again,look at the camry ,every body and their mama had a camry with problems and now no other car can sell ... There is an interesting link to an audio interview at the NPR web site. An official with Consumer Reports explains why they give the 2007 Tundra a "Not Recommended" rating, along with the Camry V-6, and the Lexus GS. He says this is unusual, they usually give Toyota vehicles a "Recommended" rating. He also says it is based on surveys of ACTUAL OWNERS. So, according ... Read More...

b2900 I had just the opposite experience as you. Bought my first Toyota 4x4 in 1985, really liked it. Based on my experience with my '85, I eagerly bought another in 1992, and after quite a few problems, WORSE quality than my 1985, factory recalls, and crummy dealer service I said not again this time around. Reading between the lines of Toyota's response on the NHTSA frontal crash tests,,,, [hmmmm it's interesting that our own testing and that of the IIHS show the Tundra to be at the top or at least equal to all the others, except in the testing done by the agency that has often been considered to be in the back pocket of the US Auto Industry ( see Ford Explorer for example ... Spyder, Do you think good rear crash test ratings will offset the negative perception of the Tundra that is getting worse by the day? How do you think the latest Quality Issue will affect sales for the remaining 2007's and 2008's?
