I am really putting this new 2007 dbl cab 5.7 v8 4x4 toyota tundra to the test. Installed a supergliude 5th wheel hitch. To tow a 10,000lb 5th wheel RV Tongue weight ( payload ) is aprox 500lbs over trucks rating. Added air bags to help take the load of the suspension and level out the truck. I just purchased a new 2007 Tundra with 11 km on the clock. At 780 km (500 mi) the VHS beeped as I turned a corner. As I slowed to a stop sign on a light layer of snow the front end sounded like it was falling apart, the abs hammered and the VHS/ABS warning lights came on. This at a speed of 20 kph or less. Mr. Rube...True enough about Big3 being tougher than Tundra. I own a 1st gen. Tundra that is a total city truck; never worked an honest day in its life. Reliable as it gets, as was my 394K '85 SR5. I dunno, but you're getting ripped off on that deal. You shouldn't be asking these questions here, they should be telling you what they used to come up with those numbers. Residual should be somewhere in the $19,000 range. Never put anything down on a lease, that's my recommendation. Sell your truck outright or have them cut you a check for the $7500 and put that ...
