Explain why Toyota claims they have a real truck when they don't even offer a fully box frame they way Ford, Dodge and Chevy do? Explain why Toyota uses rivited cross members instead of through welded the way Ford does? I purchased used 2007 Tundra 5.7 DC TRD SR5 with several hundred miles from an older gentleman. He said he purchased it and it was just two big and hard to park. Cons 1. Bed bounce. I live in Southern California where we have many concrete freeways, some of them make my Tundra bounce so bad that if I'm talking my voice wobbles and my insides feel like there coming loose. ... I suggest you go read the posts about this at TS (Tundrasolutions.com). They term it "Rumble Strip" vibrations. It is the tranny/torque converter, not the tires. Seems to be a very common issue with the problematic Tundra trannys. Toyota dealer will likely tell you that you can replace your tranny and you will have a 20% chance of getting another one with the same ... Read More...

Just for credentials... currently drive a 2006 Toyota Tacoma 2WD Crew cab. (No great shakes. Ho Hum, Gets the job done. When time comes to trade Toyota will still be my 4th choice) I RV. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? I was in the process of buying this truck, I returned it after learning it was not a toyota package. They originally told me it was a limited edition package for 2007. I called around and nobody had heard of it. I would still like to give the Toyota a try however, I am a bit worried.
