Great Truck
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra Limited 4dr Double Cab 4WD SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
I bought this truck after owning two older Tundras. Mine has every option and I spend alot of time on the highway. I many times will drive 600 miles a day and don't get home worn out from the ride. It is quick, powerful and fun to drive. I receive a lot of compliments on the truck from people who have been with me and from my wife when we use it to travel. She drives a Lexus LS 430 so she knows comfort. I currently have put 20000 miles on it and have no complaints. It is the 5.7 6-sp with 4WD and I am on the interstate constantly that is concrete and it drives very well, however, I have about 150lbs of weight in the bed always. I love the truck.
Favorite Features
Heated seats, stereo, engine, transmission and the body style in red. The interior is very comfortable.
Suggested Improvements
None at this time.

I've got the Pooooower baby!
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr Double Cab 4WD SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
Wow! This truck is impressive. Had a Silverado before. This truck is as smooth ride wise but that is where the comparisons end. This truck is like a giant sports car! (smile) I agree with a comment made in another review. This truck is indeed pure fun. As far as gas mileage. Hey it's a truck! If you are worried about gas mileage get yourself a little jetta. I'll stick with my Tundra thank you :) One word to describe this truck: Power. This truck is what other 1/2 ton trucks want to be when they grow up lol If you're thinking about getting one, go for it.
Favorite Features
381 hp, tons of storage space, tail gate assist, telescopic steering wheel.
Suggested Improvements
Standard fog lights, 6 way power seat on passenger side

New Toyota Owner
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr Double Cab 4WD SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
This is my first Toyota vehicle and I am impressed. I owned a Ford diesel 3/4 ton and pulled a fifthwheel camper with it, purchased my new Toyota for the same use. The Tundra with a 6 speed automatic pulls my camper with no problem. I was skeptical about the weight class of the tundra for pulling a fifthwheel with the weight of the camper at the pickups limits, but not anymore. This is a vehicle that is impressive to drive and feels very stable on the road with a load on it. The tow/haul mode does all the work for you and handles everything fine with the cruise control in use. Great gas mileage for a 4 wheel drive with 18 to 21.5 on the highway makes this truck a pleasure to drive.
Favorite Features
The 5.7 381 HP engine, 6 speed auto,TRD package with plenty of options to go with it, Tight turning radius, Leg room in back seat in the double cab style is plenty for all passengers. Performance is great and handles on all types of road conditions very well.
Suggested Improvements
Could use some improvements on viewing the information center during daylight. Pricing for add ons is accessive and the dealership did not seem to knowledgable about accessories for it.

A joy to drive, lots of power, very comfortable driving position (my wife likes it as well). I have the double cab that provides good room for passengers. I'm very happy with the truck so far (1200 miles).
Favorite Features
The engine (5.7 L.) and the shifter on the console are my favorite items.
Suggested Improvements
Don't know off any (at this time).

Don't buy a Totota Tundra!!!
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra Limited 4dr Double Cab SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
Do not make the same mistake that I made! My pickup has been in the shop for 3 months of the 10 months that I have owned it. At present Toyota is replacing the airbag sensors and the 6 speed transmission. Also, I now understand that the tailgate will need to be replaced due to design errors. Toyota has never built a full size pickup before and it may be years before they get it right. Don't take the chance like I did or you may fegret it. Also, they do not hold their value because Toyota is now discounting them to get rid of them. Leonard Liveoak

They need some more experience building full sized pickups before they sell anymore.

Good Choice
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr Double Cab 4WD LB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
Did a lot of research and test drove all manufacturers and all sizes. This truck was the most impressive, bought three of them in fact. Everyone is amazed with the performance and absolutely loves the styling. Was hesitant to buy anything other than a domestic but couldn't pass on this truck.
Favorite Features
Power, handling, braking, towing, interior and exterior styling, comfort, size (these rigs are big).
Suggested Improvements
I'm sure mileage could be improved, but averaging about 16 mpg mixed driving... what I expected so I'm not really complaining.

Great truck so far
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr CrewMax Cab SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
The Tundra's interior materials aren't as nice as the Tacomas, but it is still as good as any other domestic. Could have used better interior materials but in a truck meant for work it is a very nice interior. This truck is a beast. Limo sized back seat, quiet beast under the hood, a mile away between driver and passenger, and very comfortable. Awesome truck. I also test drove a Ford and a Silverado.
Favorite Features
Interior for a truck meant for work. Smooth powerful power train. Standard safety features (air bags all around, huge brakes, traction control, etc.), and interior space.
Suggested Improvements
Leather wrapped steering wheel on SR5 models, change interior dash light color, standard spray on bed liner or one like Tacoma, make fog lights standard, and make Sirius radio and option so I don't have to get rid of the stock radio. Not much else, great truck.

So Far so Good
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr Double Cab SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
I bought this truck to replace a 2003 Toyota Tacoma. I went with the TRD package because I love the look. I drive 90 miles a day so comfort and reliability are also very important. After reading several reviews I went with the 5.7L V8 and man am I glad. This truck is pure fun. The ride is smooth and comfortable. My wife doesn't want to drive her Expedition anymore! I'm not a big truck guy but this thing is perfect for people looking for the convenience of a truck and the ride of a car. The truck is big so people need to be aware that parking can be tight. With that said all I can say is, Toyota did it once again. Great job!
Favorite Features
More interior storage than you can shake a stick at. Very quiet ride. The interior feels air tight. The standard stereo/CD player are great. Love that 5.7 V8! For a big truck it turns on a dime and the steering wheel feels effortless. Overall the truck just turns heads.
Suggested Improvements
Passenger should also have a power seat. The cup holders in the front are somewhat out of reach. The dash board is somewhat abrasive causing anything that is rubbed across it to disintegrate. You have to wipe several times to remove it. As always a little better gas mileage sure would help.

Small problems
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr Double Cab SB (4.7L 8cyl 5A)
Review
Love the truck! Small problems due to Toyota quality slipping. Rattle in door, kick panel loose, front end out of line at delivery, now my tail gate latch broke after only opening the gate maybe a half dozen times. Still love the truck but you do not expect these little problems from a Toyota.
Favorite Features
Seats are a great comfort.
Suggested Improvements
Delivery quality of fit and finish needs to be addressed. Of course better gas mileage but it is a truck after all.

Muscle Truck
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr Double Cab LB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
This thing is like driving a jacked up sports car! It is a little strange to be in a vehicle this big that has so much power. Overall I am very impressed with all levels of this truck. The fit and finish is top notch, the doors shut with a tight seal, the bucket seats are great and it tows my 20' boat like it isn't even there. I traded my z71 suburban for the Tundra Doublecab. It has as much room in the back seat as my Burb had in the second row. Mine has the XSP package which includes the 20" BBS wheels, fender flares, leather, step bars, skid plate, etc. I think this must be a package that is only available from S.E. Toyota as I don't see it listed on here. Buy one!
Favorite Features
Engine & transmission.
Suggested Improvements
Group option packages so items can be added without going all the way to the limited to get some of the bells and whistles.
