Don't Buy!!!
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra Limited 4dr CrewMax Cab SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
My wife and I purchased this vehicle less than a year ago to be our primary vehicle. We've regretted buying it every day since! Toyota won't tell you there's a very real "bed-bounce" problem on many freeways (particularly Southern California) and the fuel economy isn't nearly as good as they claim. The truck hesitates at times, too, when you try to accelerate (because of towing differential) from a stop. It's not a $40,000 luxury car. It's a very nice "work" truck, but do not buy this truck if you want a comfortable drive on most concrete freeways! If you drive with infants or children, do not endanger them by putting them in this truck!!
Favorite Features
The center console is spacious and makes a nice arm rest. The stereo system, too, is better than expected.
Suggested Improvements
New springs, new tires, and perhaps a heavier bumper to mitigate the bounce.

Best truck ever
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr Double Cab 4WD SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
I've put a lot of miles on this truck so far. I am very impressed. No problems at all. Gas mileage is impressive 22 on highway. I towed my 24' trailer 1200 miles and averaged 17 mpg. Sold a 2006 Dodge Hemi. Never own one again 2 transmissions and i engine overhaul. And many rattles. I will stick with a Toyota. Best truck on the road.
Favorite Features
Power and off road ride. Towing is amazing.

Glad we waited for 2007

2007 Toyota Tundra Limited 4dr Double Cab SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
Our original plan was to get the 2006 because we liked the body size of that Tundra. The reason we decided on the 2007 was the 5.7L engine. We have a 20 foot cabin cruiser and liked the towing capacity of the bigger engine and the fuel economy over the 4.7L. Now that we have had the truck a little while we are getting used to how really big it is! Our dog, who doesn't like traveling at all likes the floor of the back seat with the seats up. We just got a tri-fold bed cover so storing our luggage there will be great. We love the navigation and back-up camera and ability to have bluetooth and MP2 plug. Overall, we love it. Great power and smooth transmission and drives like a car.
Favorite Features
Navigation and back-up camera and MP3. Great versatility with back seat. Lots of big and little storage areas.
Suggested Improvements
We added the wood grain molded dash which makes the stark looking silver dash come alive. Great addition!

Muscle Truck
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra 2dr Regular Cab 4WD SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
I two a 10,000 lb trailer on a regular basis. My previous truck was a Ford with a 460 V8. The Tundra 5.7 bets it hands down in power and economy. I have never owned a p/u in my 35 years of driving that is as powerful as this one. It is amazing. I regularly get 20 mpg driving 55 mpg empty highway miles. Around town is 14 mpg and pulling a loaded trailer at 55 mpg gets me 14 mpg. I use regular gas and everything factory.

Bought the truck Dec. 16 2007 assembled in Texas. So far have 12000 mi, had no mechanical problems and no strange noises.the truck does bounce some on the freeway when there is nothing in the bed. There is one thing I don't like and it is at the dealers now for, and that is to have the radio replaced. There is static, scratching noise in the AM section of the radio when I hit little bumps on the road or freeway. Otherwise the JBL 440 watt 12 speaker 4 cd radio sounds very cheap.
Favorite Features
The brakes and drivetrain.
Suggested Improvements
Put a good sounding radio in the thing!

First Toyota. Very quiet ride, handles great plenty of power for a 4.7 lit. engine, gas mileage 16 to17 mpg. Have cap on it, racks with tools inside.
Favorite Features
Ride, power, tailgate.
Suggested Improvements
Another color than black for interior dash, doors carpeting. A Tundra in 3/4 ton for the tradesman.

This truck is fun to drive and is a real work horse. Gets better gas mileage in town than my previous GM truck that had a smaller V8. Recently towed a 32' travel trailer 500 miles and it was an effortless tow for the 5.7 V8. So far, truck has been trouble free. I love the extra space behind the front seats. Added a rubber mat in that area to keep things from sliding around. The truck is easy to get around in the woods while hunting. In my experience short wheelbase trucks are much more fun to drive and have fewer vibrations and wheel balancing problems than extended cab models. I love driving this truck.
Favorite Features
Short wheelbase makes it very maneuverable, room behind front seats, quiet cab, plenty of power for towing and no problems
Suggested Improvements
Stronger tail gate. Make cruise control standard on all models. Make a power port "hot" even with key turned off--can not charge cell phone unless vehicle is running.

I traded in a F-250 PS LB 4x4 and love this truck so much more. There is plenty of room in the cab for my children however I wish the bed and fuel tank were a bit larger.
Favorite Features
Extra large leg room front and rear.
Suggested Improvements
Larger cargo box (bed) on the Crewmax and bit larger fuel tank.
Not bad

Overall I'm happy. Great power. Haul heavy loads all the time and have had no issues with ride. Ride actually gets better as the bed is weighted. Empty bed on rough roads cause entire truck to resonate... this is common in trucks though. Inside plastic; radio and dash material is cheap (planned to get aftermarket nav as it has better features). Bluetooth is actually no good, no one can hear me clearly. JBL subwoofer under rear seat is poorly placed, should have stuck it behind the seat. Center channel on dash makes noise if covered up with paper. Rear head rests obstruct view. No memory seats, rear ac vents or step lights standard on DC Limited? I couldn't get a moonroof on the DC.
Favorite Features
5.7 engine's power, inside seating, power folding mirrors, in/out styling, ride and performance is great with a load. 6 spd transmission shifts smoothly. Homelink. Center armrest is nice and well thought out.
Suggested Improvements
MPG. Ignition s/b on dash, not steering column. Use better plastic. More/better storage. Get rid of huge blind spots. 20" rim s/b standard on Limited. AC plug in the bed. Seat heater switches are flimsy. Dampen ride when bed is empty. Need 2 fan cntls for 2 zone climate. Fuel filler lock.

Traded in my Lexus for it!
Vehicle
2007 Toyota Tundra Limited 4dr Double Cab SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)
Review
Great handling except for a little bed bounce. Have about 8000 miles with no problems what so ever. Stopped burning rubber at stop lights because of gas economy but MAN the power is awesome. Get plenty of looks and compliments. Put new chrome grille and chromed out all exterior parts "It's a head turner!"
Favorite Features
Of course the 5.7L V8..
Suggested Improvements
Make many, many more without cheap paint and chrome all exterior accessories. Offer roll-up tonneau cover as standard.
