Engine Trouble - I feel misled
By Jerry Browning on

Vehicle

2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr Double Cab 4WD LB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)

Review

I'm one of the unlucky few (or many) with the 5.7 engine trouble. I hope Toyota recalls this engine. I feel misled by Edmunds.com for raving about this truck almost guaranteeing reliability because it's a Toyota. Guess what. Toyota reliability is overated, now I know. I need to mention that this truck left me stranded out on the freeway. I had to wait 4 hours for a tow truck.

Best Features

Good Breaks, accelaration, towing ability.

Worst Features

Reliability, please. I NEVER had Engine issues with any Ford or Dodge truck. Gas milage stinks!!! 13mpg overall.
