Living the experience with 3 RAMS
For years we heard how bad dodges were, from chevy and ford people, of course, but the folks we knew that had them didnt seem to have many problems with them. after owning fords for 20 years and the dealer and ford really sticking it to us on a windstar and two of our f150s, we converted every thing except the new holland tractors, from ford to dodge. we have a 2003 RAM ... Re: Tundra, Ram or Tacoma? [tent2tt]
I have a 2003 Toyota Tundra with the 4.7 liter gas engine; 4 wheel drive; automatic transmission; tow package with transmission oil cooler; and 71,000 miles on the truck. I have had zero problems with this truck. I change the oil and filter every 3-4,000 miles and am running Mobil 1 5W-30 fully synthetic oil. I change the transmission fluid, front and rear differential ... Read More...

Re: Big two loyalty - yawn yawn yawn [daragh]
YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. And since you have never owned a truck before, it just confirms it. You cannot trust everything you read on complaint websites. Chevy guys will bash Ford trucks and vise versa. Half of the articles you read are probably written falsely. I recently traded in a 2005 Toyota Tacoma for a 2005 Ford F-150. I had 5 waranty ... Tundra CrewMax
I haven't posted a message on this board for years. Two weeks ago I sold my 2005 Tundra Double Cab and then ordered a 2007 Tundra CrewMax. However, just a few days ago, I postponed the order for several more months. I'm getting ready to move, and I want to see what Toyota will do with the 2008 CrewMax. I really like the CrewMax, but I would like to see the CrewMax with a ... Read More...
Re: 2005 Toyota Tundra Lease Buyout Options [coyne2]
Easiest bet is to find someone to assume your lease. It looks like you're around $350/month which is a decent deal particularly because of the very low miles. The lease can be assumed by someone else very cheaply and then they can decide whether to buy-out or turn it next year. I have assumed a couple leases in the past and it worked out great. www.swapalease.com ... Read More...
2005 Toyota Tundra Lease Buyout Options
Have a 2005 Tundra SR5 4x4 Double Cab with 13k miles on a 36 month lease. The lease expires next April (1 year) Would like a recommendation on the best way to get out of the lease. I could sell the vehicle outright but I think I have to pay MA state tax. Can I sell the vehicle without registering at the DMV to avoid MA 5% sales tax. Buyout is $23,300 right now with a $19,000 ... Read More...

Re: DRL module/kit [cacou]
I had my 2005 Toyota Tundra done on Monday,Mar 26, the $25 kit didn't have a resistor to reduce the voltage to the headlights(reduces glare)and wasn't recommended for Toyota vehicles so CT got a more expensive DRL(DRL-1) kit from a parts supplier($75) made by Standard; a much more durable looking kit then the cheap one. Install was easy even tho Toyota vehicles ... Read More...
