2003 Toyota Tundra 4dr Access Cab SR5 4WD SB (4.7L 8cyl 4A)

Review

Very Toyota like vehicle. Strong and dependable. Stylish exterior. Interior although adequate and functional does not live up to Toyota quality....a little cheap feel to it. Full-time 4WD would be nice feature. Overall, one happy customer

Best Features

Powertrain, ride and sound deadening

Worst Features

Full time 4WD. Larger interior. Bring interior up to Toyota standards

2003 Toyota Tundra 4dr Access Cab SR5 Rwd Stepside SB (4.7L 8cyl 4A)

Review

Drives like a dream. Plenty of power. Quiet and very comfortable. Loaded with all the features. Overall excellent buy.

Best Features

Captain chairs, Dimming mirror, Alarm, and build quality. Oh yeh, the stepside bed.

Worst Features

The factory stereo really sucks even with the 6 speaker set up. I replaced it with an Alpine receiver and better speakers. Now it jams.

2003 Toyota Tundra 4dr Access Cab SR5 4WD SB (4.7L 8cyl 4A)

Review

Excellent power and acceleration. Highway mileage is around 19 MPG. Captains chairs are very comfortable. Easy to drive long distances (400 miles per day). Very good ride, even with the off-road package. Negatives: With automatic, difficult to shift into 4LO -- button takes several tries. One dash light doesn't work. Steering wheel isn't centered. Quality control isn't as good as Honda.

Best Features

Good ride, good acceleration, good mileage (for a pickup). Looks good.

Worst Features

Needs better quality control -- dash lights. Also, they need to go back to a floor shift lever for 4 wheel drive.

2003 Toyota Tundra 4dr Access Cab SR5 4WD SB (4.7L 8cyl 4A)

Review

I bought the truck to tow my boat which weighs about 3 tons. I couldn't be more satisfied. I very much like the looks of the truck and its road handling. Everyone who drives it says it handles more like a car(always a positive comment) than its competition. I agree and approve.

Best Features

I truly like the truck's appearance. There may be more macho, intimidating (dodge ram)looking trucks but they d'ont do it for me.

Worst Features

The center console's lid dosen't stay open by itself(I have the 60/40 seats) and the map lights could be improved.
