  It's possible that at the time of your experience the replacement program may have ended, however I received a letter yesterday from Toyota stating that the program is now effective until march 31 2012. In September 2011, I got $16,200 for my 99 Tacoma. I have been telling every Tacoma driver I see to check it out, most people had no idea of the problem. Good luck to all.

  My father, in WV near the OH border, has a 2001 Tacoma with a new frame that was installed earlier this year; he did not get a new suspension with the deal nor was he offered one.   I returned the truck to the dealer on Wednesday after the failed inspection. I did a huge pile of research and here's what I found; granted there are some errors in my findings but I returned my truck and got a full refund. 95-2000 frames were on the recall list with a deadline for inspection being March 2011.   I recieved a letter stating that I had until 12/31/11 to bring my 1996 tacoma in for the frame recall. Now I find out that the warranty expired in august 2011 because that is when the vehicle went into service. Anyone have this issue and has anyone had any luck with having toyota still honor the Frame rust recall?

  Well, I will be finding out in the next week or so if the truck passes inspection. I have until December, 2011 to have it inspected.   I am looking to buy a 2012 Tacoma TRD crew cab. Anybody out there with buying tips for this type of truck. My last 4 trucks have been Chevy silverados.   Anyone know what the 36 month 12 and 15K residual is for a 2011 Tacoma Double Cab 4WD drive in Oklahoma? The number I'm being quoted from the dealer is about 58% but seems low. I realize Toyota doesn't do a straight percent calculation of MSRP but varies the rate based on options. I would just like to get close as 58% seems low. Thanks.

  is it a 4cyl or 6cyl? If 4, no. If 6, OK deal. My assessment is based on what you have provided. Be sure that you have mentioned all options.

  Got an offer from dealer for 2011 Toyota Tacoma, double cab, 4X2, pre runner, short bed, SR5 value package, carpet floor mat. Base price $24,718, govt fees $164, doc fee 150, tax $2422. So, out of the door price is $27,454. Can anyone tell me if this is a good price? Thanks

  It depends on the model year of your Tacoma. Toyota originally included a sensor on all five tires, but starting with 2009 models, and continuing through the current (2011) models they stopped adding them to the spare. The sensors are little radio transmitters on the inside of the wheel, attached to the valve stem.
