This model should sell well for Toyota! I bought this truck to replace an aging '95 Montero.
I like the interesting textures used in the interior, e.g., shiny "metallics", dotted "leathers"; and wrinkled dash. It makes the truck feel almost Lexus or Audi like. Large, fender flares gives the overall body design a sense of seriousness. The seats feel like they came from a German car too.
2.7L engine too noisy and sounds like it growls when accelerating -- more sound insulation needed. Beef up the motor mounts to remove the secondary forces. I may be spoiled by the ride and numbness of my '00 Avalon (poor man's Lexus -- no engine vibrations, engine sound, or audible road noise).
