I rolled this truck after hitting ice in a snow storm and walked away without a bruise. The pros who came to the site said they expected to be pulling me out on a stretcher. I felt secure and safe even as we flipped and I'll buy this same truck again. I'm glad the 2005 model has the bigger back area on the access cab as it was toooo small on the 2004
I was considering a wide range of
vehicles, was looking and researching
and decided to go with the Tacoma
because of the high ratings from
consumers and editors. I am very
pleased with my Tacoma almost 9000
miles on since July of 2004 and like
it, v6 has plenty of power, handles
well on and off road, and good
service at the dealer when going there
for oil changes, I am so glad I bought
a Tacoma than a ford ranger, to me the
quality of this truck is better.
Easy to use controls, and brake force
Bought new 2004 Tacoma 4 x 2 automatic
2.4 cyl SR5 ext. cab
Very unhappy, poor power, 2 pc. drive
shaft clunks when you accelerate hard,
dealer service department, nothing we
can do. rated at 21-26 mpg. best I
have gotten is 21 even on highway.
If a/c is on, loose speed going up a
incline, do to poor power. Don't
waste your time. It won't be in my
All Toyotas have great paint.
Good resale, important to me, since
mine will be for sale soon.
i have had a gmc sonoma before this
truck nothing but problems had oil
leaks starting at 20000 miles never
could get it fixed replaced the oil pan
many gaskets finally had the motor
replaced. then about 104000 miles the
trans acted up so had to go.
i love my new tacoma 04 bought in
annapolis md at koons. they took care
of me and i love the truck has good
power and everything i need
could do something about the wind noise
but other than that love the truck.
