My own experience

1998 Toyota Supra 2dr Coupe

I've owned the car for 3 years and 2 months. Other than gasoline and an annual set of rear tires, I've not spent a dime on any issues. I get the radiator flushed annually, the transmission fluid was replaced at 45,000 miles, and its been a fun car to own. I've thought of having the brake fluid flushed, but I'm at 70,000 miles and the brakes have never been worked on.

I Want the Supra Back

The Supra was like the best Sports car ever built. Better than camaro, corvette, mustang, whatever. They need to bring it back. You dont need to redesign it, no nothing. They just need to bring it back.

From a child I had always liked the Supra, I had watched all the fact ant furious movies and I had beat Need For Speed Carbon with the supra as my final car. Come to now and I just purchased a supra for $35,000 (the seller said was a steal), and of course it's slow as mollusk (compared to what I thought was a fast car??) and unreliable (i thought it was a toyota! they don't make em like they used too). I miss my Nissan Pulsar NX (I sold it to afford this supra), it actually had more creativity in how it was designed, and parts were so cheap. The Nissan had a T-top that was easily removeable and had bags in the trunk and everything. This supra with its Targa top just doesn't do the feeling justice, it makes me feel like I'm driving a coupe with the top sawed off by a redneck in the woods. Because of the dashboard design my wife can't change the station, or the AC, and if I'm in the passengers seat when parked I can't either (unless I lean over). Drivers car my butt. Don't get a car just because you thought it was cool in movies!! I learned my lesson so you could learn yours!!!
