2012 Toyota Sienna XLE 8-Passenger 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
After the eternal debate between the Ody & Sienna, we finally settled on the Sienna XLE FWD with Navi. Loving it so far. Took a couple of 100+ mile trips and the family loves the spaciousness. Mileage has creeped up from 13.x to 18.x (in approx 500miles).
Interior is OK and could do with a few value based additions like mood lighting.
Spacious, comfy and plenty of cargo space.
Have a long trip (3000Miles +) coming soon and will report later.
Driver Seat Armrest needs ergonomic improvement. The darn thing cannot be adjusted without moving the seat and if you are sitting at the highest position with the seat reclined, the armrest sits very high making cruising at long distances uncomfortable. I hope an aftermarket fix comes for this.
Improve the Navi interface and for the love of god, pl. UNLOCK the NAVI while the van is moving so that the passenger can use it (Link the unlock to the front passenger sensing system).
Also add some soft lighting (front glove box, front console, AC and door handles)
