They decided to replace the block and the two cylinder heads due to oil leak between the head and the block.     Sounds like you're getting emissions error codes, so yeah, they'll likely come back. The cat will start to clog up and choke the engine, so you may begin to lose power. You can keep driving it and ignore the lights, but eventually you'll need a new cat.     It is unusual for vehicle manufacturers to source different brands of tires for a vehicle - except where different sizing is involved. However, Toyota seems to be the exception. They frequently multiple source tires. I suspect it is a fear of losing a supply of tires that match the specs.

    Agree, 2012 availability (of trims, colors & options) will be unpredictable as I wait too long. Also I think any extra savings due to 2013 models may be in the 500 to 1k range. Little tradeoff between savings and immediate summer use/enjoyment of new car. Thanks.

    I got a 2012 Sienna Limited AWD Blizzard Pearl with the Navigation package and convenience package, Roof rack, lower door moldings, Floor mats, and door sill protectors. My price for the car was $39,999 before tax etc. I also added the Toyota extra care platinum with zero deductible 6 years 125k miles for $1105 and 5 years 75k for $1295. Did I do okay?

    Ganley, Akron OH. Price was before tax, doc&title fees. I think extra phones cost is around $50/each. Good thing about sienna xle and limited is that vehicle is mechanically prepped for tow receiver and harness to be added. Dealer uses an outside trailer shop to install these which is less expensive.

    Why don't you add remote start on your current 2011 Sienna? You are surely going to lose a lot of money if you trade it in. It is not clear why you are looking to upgrade from your 2011.

    Toyota dealer insisted the 2012 cannot tow, despite Toyota corporate call in line telling me otherwise (that it is standard). Brochure also says it can. Anyone else hear this? I tow a 3000lb boat.

    The dealer must have given you a copy of the application. Call the Toyota Financial services (800-228-8559) and request for cancellation of the application. You have 30 days from the date you bought the extended warranty ( called VSA by toyota) to cancel it.

    I also contacted Jerry at Midwest Toyota and he called me the same day after reading my email inquiring on the extended warranty for my 2012 Sienna XLE. It was a great experience speaking with Jerry and he answered all my questions. This extended warranty comes with $0 deductible for 8yrs/100,000 miles; best deal in the country!

    FYI, Jerry Johnson at Midwest is not the best price in town. Molle Toyota in MO is the best price hands down, and has an equally good reputation.
