Help buying a used Sienna
My wife and are are looking to purchase our first Toyota Sienna. We've always been an American brand family so we have no idea about this market, so I'm looking for some help. We've found a 2006 LE at a local dealership with 41,000 miles on it certified (7yr 100k power train warranty) and they are asking $17,500. I looked at NADA and KBB to get an idea on what the dealership ... Read More...

Toyota Sienna GPS with traffic updates
I have a 2006 Sienna with an OEM NAV system. I would like to have one that is equipped with the traffic update capabilities. Is there an After Market solution for this? Do the newer Siennas NAV systems have that capability? Thanks, GregH2 Read More...
Re: navigation stoped working [klaudiadang]
My navigation system in my 2006 Toyota Sienna has the same issue. We took it to Toyota and were told it would cost $3000.00 to have it looked at. To have a new navigation system installed would be $5000.00. Just curious, did you recently replace your battery? Someone else said they had the same issue when they replaced their battery. I think that is when my system ... Read More...

Enging Splash guard has come loose
I have a Toyota Sienna LE - 2006. I noticed that the Engine Splash Guard beneath the van has come loose from the front. I had taken it to the shop and they mentioned that one of the plastic fastners / clips of the splash guard was missing. They said that they do not keep these kind of fasteners in stock. Would really appreciate, if you coudl let me know which fasteners ... Read More...

Honda Odyssey vs. Toyota Sienna
Re: Few interesting facts [toyojunk]
You dodged the real question, though. Why did you post about how much you liked the Sienna in 2006, and complain about a Honda dealer that was obnoxious enough to command a $500 deposit for you to even test drive one? Plus you gushed about how the Sienna had the best instrument panel and the Ody had a cheap interior, and you hated the interior color of the Ody. You forgot ... Read More...
Re:Honda cars are becoming lemons [sunnet]
Not true. My sister's 2001 Ody EX has 120,000 miles and has had NO transmission problems. The 01 Ody EX with 120,000 miles still drives and handles better than my overpriced 2006 Sienna LE that has only 31,011 miles on it and ALL Odyssey seats are more comfortable than the seats in my Toyota Junk.. Re: Ody EX vs Sienna LE w/EVP#2? Worth $1300 more? [scratchboat]
Have also had a 2001 Odyssey basic model and have 102,000 on it. Transmission replaced at 48,000, as expected. Looking for a new used Odyssey or Sienna. Test drove two 2006s today (EXl and Limited) The Sienna gives a softer ride than the Odyssey. The Odyssey felt more on the road and handled better to me. The Odyssey second seats slide forward to give more leg room ... Read More...
