AWD Tire Problem
By Andy on

Vehicle

2005 Toyota Sienna XLE 7-Passenger AWD 4dr Minivan (3.3L 6cyl 5A)

Review

We've driven our Sienna XLE AWD van for 17,000 miles. The van itself is a great design. The all wheel drive works perfectly in the snow. Toyota's decision to eliminate the spare tire and use run-flat tires was a major mistake. At 16,000 miles I had to spend $500 to replace two tires. The other two aren't far behind. The run- flat tires make the van ride like a truck, are un-reliable, over-priced, impossible to find, and and short lived.

Favorite Features

The AWD is great in the snow.

Suggested Improvements

Toyota need to find a place for the spare and use standard tires.
