I sold my 2001 Sequoia with 98,000 miles on it in 2009 after special ordering a new 2010 4x4 Sequoia. Toyota puts a a great product but a 10 year old vehicle with 200,000 miles has seen its better days.
We purchased a Certified 2010 Sequoia Limited yesterday from Don McGill. We went through the Internet department and dealt with Kris Tate. Overall it was a very easy experience compared to any others we've had in the non-luxury car segment. I was pleasantly surprised. Kris was very straight foward on the deal and didn't play games. There wasn't any real haggling or back and forth to the manager's office. They gave ... Read More

I have a 2005 Toyota Sequoia that had the Technical Service Bulletin repair for the inoperative rear power window done at about 30k miles. The problem occurred again at about 32k miles. I picked up my New Sequoia in New Jersey March 6 2010 and drove it home to South Fla a couple days later. Hi bmwnewbie530i. Toyota is not currently providing any lease support on the Sequoia. As a result, if you were to lease one through Toyota Financial Services, you would have to use its standard lease money factor. How about cleaning it up to make it accurate? Toyota dealers are clueless about what is and is not being recalled. I'd go with the 2010 demo even if it is a few hundred to a thousand more. As you stated, you have more warranty time left. With regard to the price, are you talking about an ON THE ROAD PRICE or is that the price you are looking for before taxes, tags, etc.? Given the fact that Toyota's reputation is suffering and the "resale values" are going down, you should be ... Read More

mjohnr99, Wondering if you could post the toyota sales stats for December looking to see if Sequoia will keep incentives, they still seem to be sitting in PNW region. Hoping for 0/60. Thanks
Toyota has not been competitive with other car manufactures when it comes to offering cash incentives on the Sequoia. The result appears to be a lot of lost sales even when a dealer offers $3,900 off sticker as in your case. According to the website, leather is standard on the SR5. That alone accounts for much of the price difference from the 2008. I know it's Toyota CA, but can we assume that leather seats will be standard in the US as well? That, along with the other features that are indicated to be standard, would greatly reduce my interest in purchasing an '08.
