T. Lei, I have a 2007 Sequoia and installed my own trailer hitch...Just purchased a boat and now need lights. Toyota dealer gave my wife the run around and said there is no hook-up under the back of the SUV... Sequioabuyer... Even though you didn't ask me, I totally agree with you. If we really look at it, the '08's are two years old (model years that is). I'm also reluctant to pay even 10K less of MSRP for a vehicle that's essentially two years old. Buzzy, Obviously you know the needs of the family best. For ours, the design of the captain chair and how it slides forward works as conveniently for kids as it does adults. At 6'4 I have no problem comfrortably getting in the 3rd row and the seating is by far the best on avy SUV on the market. I agree there does not seem to be too many '08 Sequoias on the road in Chicago area, but here are the national facts. Toyota sold 3,195 Sequoias in August, UP 86% from a year ago. Year-to-date they sold 22,562 Sequoias, UP 38% from 2007. That does not sound like a vehicle that is struggling as much as people say it is. To be fair, last year was probably lower than expected ... My Sequoia hatch handle broke with moderate use. I had it repaired at the dealership for $270.00. I asked to have some compensation and contacted corporate office to ask if there was a recall on this. At this point I have not been compensated, but I am going to pursue it. My complaint is on file.
