2005 Toyota Sequoia Limited 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

Review

Bought an '05 Limited 4x4 in May. Nice, roomy, well thought out. Gets better mileage (15/18) than the 6 cylinder Land Cruiser (13/15)I had before this! Purposely waited deep into the model year to hopefully have the bugs mentioned in the forums ironed out. So far, so good! 5 speed is smooth and sure. No vibrations, wind noises, ABS/VSC/transmission issues or annoyances. Plenty of power with the '05 V8. Would have liked the Nav, but did not want the rear DVD and Luxury package options. Seemed like these three were all lumped in together in the vehicles available. A Garmin StreetPilot c330 fixed that! All in all, a great truck for my needs. Plenty of room, nice style and performance.

Best Features

Info center is cool. Also, the power/remote roll down rear window is a nice option that was not available in the Land Cruiser. Nice that the remote does not "honk your horn" when locking/unlocking. The chime is much more discreet. Power tilt-in side view mirrors?? OK, why not!

Worst Features

No headlight "left on" chime when key removed. Column shifter?? C'mon, its a Toyota, not a Ford or Chevy. Too bad the 3rd row does not fold flat. Marginal armrests on the front seats. How about a real handle or grip to lower the rear hatch instead of a cheesy strap thats going to snap off soon?
