2005 Toyota Sequoia SUV SR5 Rwd 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

Review

This car has exceeded my expectations by far. I feel safe, have room for eight adults and don't spend a fortune in gas. My Jeep Cherokee V-6 uses more gas than my Sequoia. I love it, and would highly recomend anyone to buy this SUV.

Best Features

The air bags (there are so many) it makes me feel safe.

Worst Features

make a built in car seat for toddlers Crysler makes them in their vans and I would love to have them in the Sequoia. It would make business better.

Review

Went from a Previa to the Sequoia. We consider Armada a great vehicle with great acceleration (0-60 is 1.5 secs faster than Sequoia and fold away seats and bold styling. Armada's brake issue was troublesome though. Chose Sequoia last minute for the smooth, quiet ride and the Toyota reliability (despite a more conservatively styled exterior and 20hp less). Armada is great if you tow and have time to spend at the shop to remedy the brakes. The Sequoia is the ULTIMATE minivan substitute if comfort, dependability, gas mileage, and interior space/flexibility are paramount(rear seat splits while Armada's is one-piece). There are more things standard on Sequoia than the brochure indicates.

Best Features

Roll down tailgate window, front and rear auto climate control, dual powered seats, footwell light for driver, tire pressure monitor, rattle/squeek free ride that's hushed. The engine performs at a low growl under heavy acceleration. Height control air suspension is neat.

Worst Features

Gas mileage is fine but if Toyota could make it better, all would be great. Standard automatic lights, power folding mirrors on SR5, and standard electrochromatic rearview mirror would be appreciated, as in the Armada.

Review

the sequoia has a comfortable ride for being built on a truck frame. all the options for safety and entertainment are great.

Best Features

plenty of room, passenger comfort, (even in the third row for an adult) safety features like traction control, abs, and many more.

Worst Features

the classic styling could be upgraded to a more futuristic appeal.
